Finally we patch the MLPostFactor partition and after we reboot, the new OSX Mountain Lion will already be running on our unsupported Mac. Then we install MLPF on that partition and later the new OSX as we normally would. To do this we will create a new partition in the system. Until now, the daring users who dared to install the OSX Mountain Lion on an unsupported Macs, they had to follow long tutorials to do it, but thanks to MLPostFactor the process has been simplified to the extreme of a few clicks. MLPostFactor for its part, will allow us install the latest OS X 10.8.3 on unsupported Macs officially by Apple. This default new installation will delete everything on your hard disk and install a fresh copy of Snow Leopard, so its important to backup your user files. If you are one of those users, you are in luck, because in this post we are going to introduce you to MLPostFactor, an application that lifts this impediment by allowing OSX Mountain Lion to be run on all Macs capable of running OSX Lion.Īll users who were caught up to Apple's whim until now had only two possibilities, either to return to Snow Leopard or to stay in the hell of the Lion and its failures. In this way, many computers that were running Lion could not have Mountain Lion installed. What was their surprise, when for issues of minimum requirements imposed by Apple in terms of hardware, they were excluded from a possible update to the new and renovated Mountain Lion. At the time that Apple published that it had launched almost by surprise the OS X Mountain Lion, OSX Lion users who had a lot of problems with that operating system or who felt that I had always needed a twist they thought it was time to change the Lion.
